God Creator of Humanity Prayer
By Rebecca Blonski
Dear God, Our Creator, Who made heaven and earth, Desiring to share in our humanity offered us new life through our cooperation with You. In Your Great Love for humanity, You have fully allowed us to become partners in Your love by giving us Free Will: to Choose Life and to Choose to Love! We humbly ask for the Grace to continue honoring Your desire for life, and to share in the beauty of creation for the sake of humanity. Let us in gratitude, offer You our thankfulness for revealing Your Love. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
In 1531, our Lady appeared to Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill in Mexico, arranging cut roses on his cloak, known as a tilma. When Juan unfolded his tilma before the bishop, the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared on it. This same image now hangs in The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. Our Lady appears as a pregnant woman. Her pregnancy is apparent, not only because of her rounded abdomen, but because of the black sash she wore around her waist, which at that time in Mexico, indicated a woman was with child.
Consecration to Our Lady of Guadalupe
By Rebecca Blonski
Dear Virgin Mary, spouse of the Holy Spirit, and Mother of Jesus, Queen of Heaven and Earth, whom the Angels adore, with great faith and loyalty, we dedicate and consecrate Madonna House Inc., A Religious Association, to you, under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas, intercessor for the Unborn and Cause for Life.
We humbly ask for your prayers, wisdom, and guidance as we labor in love at Madonna House in honor of your Son Jesus Christ. Please intercede for the poor, so that we may all share what we are given with people in need, and those experiencing hardships, within this community and surrounding areas.
As Jesus tell us: “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself. No other commandments are greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31).
Dear Lady: May we follow your example of trust, humility, charity, and obedience to God, Our Father in Heaven. The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me”. (Matthew 25:40 ) Amen.
